Thomas Pierson, RYT: “Yoga is purportedly a pshyco-spiritual science, and I believe that is true.  Yoga is an access point, or a way to dial in to our psyche and our spirituality.  But there are sometimes when we try to dial in, but get no connection, and other times when the connection is loud and clear.  The science aspect of the practice of yoga allows for certain experiments, whether they be movement-oriented, meditative, or energetic, to achieve the connection, and recreate it without fail time and time again.  I can show you how to achieve the connection quickly, easily and how to teach it to others.  That is really what this training is all about – it’s about connection – connection to oneself, to others, and to the infinite.”

Tranquil Heart Yoga Teacher Training Course is a six-month comprehensive program fulfilling the requirements set forth by Yoga Alliance to become a certified yoga instructor. Classes begin April 4 and run through the end of August; Mondays, Wednesdays and Weekends.

If you want to join the 200-hour Teacher Training Course but cannot begin on the first day of classes (April 4), do not worry: the coursework will repeat in September 2016. You can start classes any time during the winter* and make up the remaining hours during the next semester.

And if you wish to learn only a few of the topics covered in the Teacher Training Course, you can join select classes a la carte via Tranquil Heart Academic Modules Program.
