Facilitated by Bhante Rahula. He has spent 30 years actively studying comparative religion. Having lived in several Buddhist temples, Bhante has been in the environment to develop his personal meditation skills and has experienced profound results from him meditation practice. In early 2015, he entered the Buddhist Monastic practice of the Mahayana tradition and recently decided to instruct in a secular environment.

Mission Statement:  To provide clear and concise instruction on the meaning, methods and application of meditation while emphasizing the mental and physical benefits of a prolonged practice.

Course Summary:  A series of four classes with classes 2-4 consisting of 20 minutes of instruction followed by 30 minutes of meditation and then allowing 10 minutes for questions and answers.   

Class 1:  Introduction to MMA(Mixed Meditative Arts).  This first class will be 40 minutes of instruction with 20 minutes of meditation. 

Class 2:  INTROSPECTION – The examination and observation of one’s own mental and emotional processes during meditation. 

Class 3:  CONTEMPLATION – The meditative action of thoughtfully examining an issue or idea.

Class 4:  INSIGHT – Mindfulness and the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of one’s self.
