Lauren Farenga is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher trained in Boston, MA.  Practicing yoga for over 12 years, she has always been intrigued by the mind-body connection, using yoga postures and techniques to explore this connection in her classes.  Lauren has a fun, energetic style and an enthusiasm for yoga that shines through in her teaching.  Her classes are playful and bring each student to their edge while emphasizing proper alignment and movement with breath, and incorporate it into sequences in different ways. The unique blend of styles makes sequencing progressive, accommodating all levels and abilities from beginner to advanced in every class, and allowing students to explore and play with postures in a variety of ways. Do yoga, have FUN!

Lauren will now be teaching at 9:30am Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 3rd.

Leslie Cuenca

Leslie began her Yoga practice at various Houston studios and gyms in early 2000. She has worked as a dance and Group Fitness instructor since 2006 specializing in Belly Dance and Salsa. Her passion for Yoga began to blossom after experiencing Ashtanga in 2009 as part of her dance training. She fell in love with Yoga all over again and from 2010-2012 she continued to pursue her Yoga practice and studies.

Leslie received her Yoga teacher certification through the Jonny Kest LifePower Yoga Teacher Training program offered by the Life Time Academyin 2012. The program allowed her to receive comprehensive and practical instruction in asana, pranayama and meditation. She specializes in formats such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga and meditation. Her schooling followed the teachings and methods of Yoga masters such as Krishnamacharya, B.K.S Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois and T.K.V. Desikachar.

Leslie will be teaching at 5:30pm on Thursdays starting June 5th.
